San Luis Obispo — Our own, Sage at Vista Grande received the Best Food award for their signature Korean BBQ Slider, served at the 27th Annual Afternoon of Epicurean Delights, held June 1, 2014, at the historic Chapman House by the Sea in Shell Beach.
This year&#8217;s event was attended by over 400 people and raised more than $58,000 for Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County (CAPSLO), a nonprofit agency that serves over 40,000 people annually and is committed to eliminating poverty through an array of community-based programs.
Restaurant manager Margi Braden and Sous Chef Darrell Janes, were presented with a commemorative plaque for their achievement at a ceremony on September 9, 2014, attended by university and CAPSLO staff.
