SAN LUIS OBISPO — May is Bike Month and in celebration Campus Dining is giving away a free bike every week in May as part of their “Friday Freebie” program. Bike Month is the largest community organized event in San Luis Obispo County, with the goal of bringing more awareness to using bikes as transportation on behalf of the environment.
To enter the bike giveaway contest, participants must follow Cal Poly Campus Dining on Instagram and like their “Friday Freebie” photo. The winner will then be chosen at random to win a free bike supplied by Campus Dining’s partner, Coca-Cola.
Campus Dining is hosting the Bike Month event because of their commitment to serving students nutritious, sustainable food to fuel their bodies; ultimately supporting an active lifestyle as well as academic success.
