Cal Poly is celebrating the grand opening of its new and fully reimagined Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The university hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Cal Poly President Jeffrey Armstrong. The new center is located in Downtown San Luis Obispo.
The tech company, Logitech, supplied all three floors of the new space. It features a flagship event space along with private phone booths and meeting rooms. Additionally, the center has a dedicated startup accelerator.
Cal Poly officials say the goal is to give students hands-on access to the same technology used by leading companies.
