SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA – In celebration of Earth Day, the University Store has launched an Instagram contest lasting from April 3 – April 22nd. Students can enter the contest by taking a picture of their purchase of one of the eco-friendly items at the University Store and using the hashtag #Ishopgreen. The winner will be randomly selected on Earth Day, April 22nd. This month-long contest is all part of the University Store’s “Student Friendly. Earth Friendly.” campaign.
Every student’s Instagram submission with the hashtag #Ishopgreen will have the chance of winning a $50 University Store gift card if they are selected. When choosing which product to Instagram, students can select from any of the following eco-friendly items found at the university store: Shinola natural bound notebooks, Fabriano EcoQua notebooks, Reusable Cal Poly water bottles, Cal Poly Sweatshirts made from recycled water bottles, Water Bottle Ball Point Pens, Environotes sugarcane paper notebooks, Environotes recycled paper notebooks, Cane Fields Sugar Cane Printer Paper, Wooden Bamboo Ball Point Pens, Tree-Friendly Pencils, and Decomposition Books.
