The National Association of College & University Food Services (NACUFS) announced the winners of its 2025 Loyal E. Horton Dining, Nutrition and Sustainability Awards Tuesday. Campus dining programs around the U.S. were recognized with gold, silver, and bronze awards in a multitude of categories, including menu innovation, employee development, catering, retail sales, nutrition and sustainability.

Awardees were recognized in about 20 categories and at several levels within each. For Innovative Dining Program of the Year, both California Polytechnic State University and University of Mississippi garnered the gold, while the gold for Residential Dining Facility of the Year went to Stevens Institute of Technology, University of Miami and University of Pittsburgh.

Cal Poly also topped the list for Outreach & Education Program of the Year, joined for the gold by University of California-Merced.
